Electric vehicle convoy meets wind turbines at Makara for Drive Electric Week
The Government says electric cars are the future - but it was the traditional Kiwi road block of wandering sheep that briefly delayed a convoy to mark Drive Electric Week.
Meridian's wind farm at Makara, on the edge of the lower North Island, played host to about 12 electric vehicles (EVs) on Monday as part of International Drive Electric Week, which aims to get people talking and thinking about EVs.
